This class is geared for the youngest writers (grades 3-4) or students who really struggle with writing. It is my most gently paced class. We will go through seven units of the IEW curriculum, building precept upon precept. The students will learn about interesting animals, people, and events! This two-semester class will be a fun, low-pressure introduction to writing. No IEW experience necessary.

Students who sign up for the Wild and Wonderful World of Writing class are committing to two semesters, fall and spring.

The cost for the Student Book for this class is included in the fall tuition. Because IEW has discontinued what I thought was the best book for a gentle IEW introduction, I am writing my own! It will be sent to you in August when I receive either your tuition payment or your charter school PO.

In this class we will investigate and write about many subjects including Vivaldi, Volcanoes, the Amazon Rainforest, and the French Revolution, all while learning to write using the IEW Structure and Style writing method! This class is suited for grades 6-9.
